Rob asked:
I purchased a new, cheap Lexmark printer, and hooked this up to my PC running Vista. Power is connected, power is on, and USB is connected. The computer is, apparently, aware that the printer exists, because it identified a Lexmark 2500 series hooked up, and identifies this printer as available in the list of printers in programs like Word.

So everything looks good, but when I hit print, nothing happens.
Any idea what else could be missing? I’ve tried this a couple times with a couple applications, and each time, the print button is hit, nothing happens, and NO documents show up in the printer queue. What am I missing?
